2. India Created History, but the hopes lie in Mystery

On 24 September:
  • "INDIA became the first country in the world to have reached distant Mars on its own steam in first attempt and first Asian country to enter the Martian orbit"
  • It took around 300 days to cover distance 670 million kilometers (420 million miles) to reach the "RED SOIL" and finally on 24 September 2014 INDIA in its maiden attempt was successful to create history.
  • It is the biggest achievement for ISRO and all the Indians.
  • The cheapest inter-planetary mission ever to be undertaken by the world as it is noted that “this mission cost lesser than Hollywood movie "GRAVITY" because we believe in our power not on wasting money"
  • It cost 73 million US dollar (450 Crore) in comparison to 100 million dollar on Hollywood movie.

3. The Journey of history Begun from Bay of Bengal

India's Mars Orbiter Mission (MOM) a robotic mission weighing 1,350kg (2,976lb) - was launched from the rocket port at Sriharikota on the coast of the Bay of Bengal on a cool afternoon of 5 November last year.

4. India can beat US & Russia- Hence Proved!!!

  • The mission was launched in 2013 with a view to create history because before INDIA no country was able to attain success in maiden attempt.
  • Both US and Russia failed in their maiden attempts. The first Chinese mission to mars called Yinghuo-1 failed in 2011 alongside Russian Phobos-Grunt mission with which it was launched. Earlier in 1988, the Japanese mission on Mars ran out of fuel and was lost.
  • Words of Prime Minister should be marked “if the mission would have failed then it was the only responsibility of Govt. But as this has been completed the only applause goes to the team of ISRO"
  • He said “Be the one whom world need not the one who need world" and hopefully this is the moment when these lines could come true for India.
  • The true value of first attempt could only be felt by students pursuing CA and CS. India has written his name in Gold.
  • The Mangalyaan has started sending pictures after 13 hours as it entered Martian orbit.

5. Kudos to ISRO

  • India's low-cost and quick turnaround satellite mission has attracted lot of global attention from the scientific community that seeks to better understand the mysterious Mars.
  • ISRO announced that some parts used in the satellite were manufactured in Faridabad.
  • So guyz proud to be INDIANS and Faridabadians.
  • Enjoy this prestigious moment because it can be lived only once in long years.
  • We are the part of history as we are alive when ISRO maiden history.
  • And will be part of this nation when again it will be called as GOLDEN BIRD
