6 things you should keep in mind while preparing CA IPCC Group 2 Audit

Many of you who are going to appear in NOV 2014 IPCC GROUP-2 Audit Exam might be having doubts regarding Syllabus, which book to choose, act. So, I BHUVI AHUJA, decided to help you all.

1.    Which BOOKs are to be referred?

All of you are surely not able to decide which book to choose to prepare for audit exam whether to start with Practice Manual or Study Material or Surbhi Bansal. I personally recommend you to start with AUDIT by SURBHI BANSAL as the matter contained and the explanations given in the book are enough to get the exemption in audit exam.
2.    What is the SYLLABUS?

Though the syllabus is just the same but with some minor amendments in Companies Audit 1 & 2 because of Companies Act 2013. You can download the amendments from here- Changes in CA IPCC Audit Nov 2014

3.    REVISION TEST PAPER

RTPs are the most important material that ICAI prepare every time to give students a view of exam questions. If you are not taking into your preparation den you are surely leaving spaces between your preparations. It might help you to earn 10-15 marks extra.
You can download the Nov 2014 Audit RTP from here- RTP CA IPCC Audit Nov 2014

4.    MAKE NECESSARY NOTES

Only reading the books is not going to give you the expected marks. For this you have to do something extra i.e. you need to prepare handmade notes which can be referred during the revision time.
5.    SPECIAL ATTENTION TO STANDARDS ON AUDITING

If you wish to attend Fast Track Batch of CA IPCC Indirect Tax batch click here IPCC Indirect Tax Fast Track Batch Nov 14

Just cramming the SA’s will not work. You have to work daily to make command on SA’s. Don’t leave SA for the last. Daily spend half an hour on SA’s as quoting SA’s will definitely help you in fetching some extra marks.
6.    COMPANY AUDIT 1 & 2

These chapters contain heavy weightage in the exams. Read, learn and write before you are going to sit in exams. Command on these two chapters will decide whether you are getting the exemption or just passing the subject.
At the end prepare well yourself as your preparation is all that going to get you marks in exams.
All the best
So now the Need of the Hour is “Smart Study”. Wish you luck guys
